Workspace Templates

FileMind Workspaces are saved configurations that contain all the settings for a specific purpose. Workspace templates can be loaded with just a few mouse clicks, and using them does not require any deep knowledge about metadata standards or FileMind customization. Any Workspace can be exported into a single small file, sent via email to other FileMind users and then imported and loaded right away!

Ready-to-Use Templates

As time permits, we will create and upload more ready-to-use FileMind Workspace templates that can be used free of charge. Please contact us if you have any suggestions or comments. All Workspace templates can be easily imported and edited with the Workspace Editor. If you created a FileMind Workspace that you want to share, please send it to us! We will review it for free and publish it here.

Thumbnails

A very simple Workspace example that extracts thumbnail previews from images (including XMP-embedded thumbnails), audio (mp3, WMA) and text (PDF, MS Office) types.

Convert legacy Win XP Exif tags to IPTC fields

Extracts the five proprietary Exif tags XPAuthor, XPKeywords, XPTitle, XPSubject and XPComment for review and comparison with IPTC fields (IIM and IPTC Core). Note: A newer version of this template will copy the fields to IIM and IPTC Core (XMP) with a single click.

Find images that are used by your website and analyze its metadata content.

Check the compliance of metadata items with legal, industry, standards or corporate polices and regulations. Good for creating audit reports (Excel/PDF).

Real Age of File Content

Shows the date and time information derived from the filesystem in comparison with date and time tags extracted from the file's metadata. Two panels are optimized for image files, one panel for MS Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).

Check Attribution / Copyrights

Checks a large number of metadata fields (Exif, Iptc/IIM, XMP, PSIR) in image files that can contain attribution information about its content.

VRA 4.0 Core Review

DISC 2.0
